Prograis set to defend Super lightweight title against Danielito Zorrilla in homecoming fight.




(On June,17th)- Super Lightweight world champion Regis Prograis (28-1, 24ko), will look to defend his WBC championship for the first time since winning the vacant title, when he defeated Jose Zepeda (35-3, 27ko), by 11th round stoppage in November of 2022.

Prograis, who currently rides a four fight KO streak was originally scheduled to take on Liam Paro (28-1, 24 ko), will now be taking on Danielito Zorrilla(17-1,13ko) of Puerto Rico. This title defense will take place in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Smoothie King Center in the 12-round, main-event, promoted by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing.
