Edgar Berlanga taking on Jason Quigley June 24th in MSG return.

-26yr old, undefeated Super Middleweight sensation Edgar “ The Chosen One” Berlanga (20-0,16KO), returns to the ring June, 24th, against former world title challenger Jason Quigley (20-2,14KO) of Ireland, at the Madison Square Garden Theater in NYC.

Berlanga, who is notably known for his devastating knockout power, is looking to show the world that he belongs in the ring with the top fighters such as a boxing superstar Canelo Alverez, a fighter who Berlanga has been very adamant about calling out.

“If he wants to start calling out the likes of Canelo Alverez, he’s got to steamroll through the likes of Jason Quigley and start making noise”. Promoter Eddie Hearn said

Berlanga who Recently signed with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing, has been matched with Jason Quigley as the first obstacle on that road to title contention. Berlanga will be stepping up to fight his first scheduled 12-round bout, looking to defend his WBO NABO Super middleweight title for the third time.
