Jalil Hackett lands deal with Matchroom

— Undefeated welterweight prospect Jalil Major Hackett, lands a new promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. Hackett (21), is a promising young fighter who turned pro in 2021, making his debut on the Mayweather vs Paul undercard. Since then Hackett has amassed a record that currently stands at (8-0, 7ko), most recently winning the WBC Silver welterweight title in December of 2023, where he defeated Adrian Gutierrez (12-1-1, 6ko), by 3rd round TKO in a main-event bout featured on Red Owl Boxing, on DAZN.
