Tank Davis meets Frank Martin for WBA title defense in Las Vegas.

Undefeated boxing superstar Gervonta “Tank” Davis (29-0, 27ko), returns to action June-15th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, taking on undefeated world contender Frank” The Ghost” Martin (18-0, 12ko), in a championship showdown scheduled for [12 rounds], for Davis’s WBA Lightweight World title. This bout has the fixings to be a dangerously electric fight, as both fighters have a level of familiarity with one another after sharing the ring in a controversial sparring session that has generated some notable buzz.

Some might argue that the hungry undefeated challenger Martin, could present the biggest potential challenge of Davis’s career to date, even despite Davis having defeated a handful of former world champions and notable contenders. Moving to the co-featured bout of the night, David Benavidez (28-0, 24ko), will move up to the Light heavyweight division to challenge former world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16ko), in a scheduled [12 round] bout with the WBC interim Light heavyweight title on the line. Benavidez (27), is known around boxing as on of the most vicious punches in the sport to date, earning the name “The Mexican Monster” from the legendary heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. After wiping out his opposition in the super-middleweight division in hopes of landing a fight with undisputed champion Canelo Alverez, Benavidez decided it was time to move up in weight in search of new title opportunities, landing the task of the Ukrainian former world champion Gvozdyk.

Also in action, undefeated knockout artist Gary Antuanne Russell (17-0, 17ko), will meet undefeated former world champion Alberto Puello (22-0, 10ko), of the Dominican Republic, in a bout scheduled for [12 rounds], for the WBC interim Super Lightweight title. Russell (27), is a 2016-Olympic silver medalist who has continued his success in the professional rankings, where he has won all (17) of his professional fights by way of knockout. He looks to extend his K.O streak as he enters world contender contentions taking on a durable opponent in Alberto Puello.
