Team work makes the dream work in Wizards win over Celtics.

On Tuesday night the Washington Wizards appeared to have a renewed sense of life defeating the Boston Celtics by a score of 130-111.

Washington didn’t seem to miss a beat while being without two of the teams top scorers in Bradley Beal(knee) and Kyle Kuzma(Ankle ), also down starting center Daniel Gafford.

Against the Celtics the Wiz seemed to have a jubilant flow on offense, powered by a early strong offensive surge from foward Kristaps Porzingis, who finished the game with 32 points & 13 rebounds.

“It was about us..we felt that you’d look across the room and it felt sometimes like an away game”. Coach Wes Unseld jr said. “I think that got our guys going a little bit…they played with a chip on their shoulders”.

Wizards small forward Deni Avdija had a huge game, mirroring his career high in scoring, with 25 points, while tagging along 10 rebounds to secure a double-double.

“He’s a hooper” Kristaps Porzingis said of Avdija. “He has the talent…he just needs a bit more freedom, a bit more confidence and he can do all these things”. Porzingis followed “I think these games a really good for younger guys to have more of a responsibility on the offensive end”.

Washington had five players with a double figure scoring night, with guys like Corey Krispert 15 points and Monte Morris who got the nod for the starting lineup, producing a 19 point, 9 assist charge to help the team secure the wide margin victory over the C’s.

With the victory the Wizards keep their post-season hopes alive improving the teams record to (34-32) and the eastern conference second seeded Celtics shifts to (52-24).
