Janibek looks to defend IBF & WBO titles vs Mikhailovich

(Oct-04, 2024)— Undefeated unified middleweight World Champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10ko), (of Kazakhstan), will look to defend his IBF & WBO World titles against New Zealand’s Andrei Mikhailovich (21-0, 13ko), in a scheduled [12-Round] world title attraction, set to take place at The Star, in Sydney, Australia.

Janibek, is 3-0 in world title defenses, most recently defeating Vincenzo Gualtieri (22-1-1, 7ko), (of Germany) to capture the IBF middleweight world championship, in a title unification bout that took place in October of 2023.

For the 26yr old, Mikhailovich this will be his first attempt at world title after successfully having won, and defended the IBF Pan Pacific & WBO Global, regional titles in the middleweight division.
