Fox Eyes Career-Changing Victory over former champion Bohachuk.
On (Saturday, May 17, 2025) — Former interim world title challenger Mykal Fox (24-4, 5 KOs) of Forestville, Md, looks to make his mark on the super welterweight division as he moves up a weight class to take on former WBC Interim World Super Welterweight Champion Serhii Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KOs) of Ukraine at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, California. This card is promoted by 360 Promotions and will be streaming live on UFC Fight Pass.
Bohachuk, 30, most recently scored a sixth-round TKO over Ishmael Davis (13-2, 6 KOs) in December 2024. Prior to that, Bohachuk lost his WBC interim title to undefeated world challenger Vergil Ortiz (23-0, 21 KOs) in a hard-fought battle that ultimately came down to the championship rounds (Rounds 11 and 12).
Fox is coming off two consecutive unanimous decision victories, with wins over Donald Ward and Yainel Alvarez, both in 2024. For the 29-year-old Fox, victory over a world contender like Bohachuk would certainly help propel him into contender status and also bring him closer to a world title opportunity.
