Alantez Fox takes on Bektemir Melikuziev in co-main event on Ramirez vs Smith card.

(Oct-07-2023)- at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, former world title challenger Alantez Fox (28-4-1,16ko), will seek to regain his claim as a world title contender, taking on 2016-Olympic Silver Medalist Bektemir Melikuziev (12-1, 9ko), in a scheduled Ten-round, Super-middleweight co-main event as part of the Gilberto Ramirez vs Joe Smith Jr, card promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, featuring on DAZN.

Standing at 6’4, Fox is a tall rangy fighter that gives opposition trouble when he boxes from outside and sets up combinations fighting from behind his long range. However Melikuziev (of Uzbekistan), is a shifty explosive puncher that looks to target and do damage to his opponents by landing combinations to the body.

Styles make fights, and this intriguingly matched about will see two fighters with contrasting fight styles, looking to exploit perceived mismatches against one another in a Ten-round world class showdown.
