After a short night on Shobox “Short Dog” returns November 4 at ESA Arena in D.C.

(On November 4, 2023)- Newly crowned NABF Jr.lightweight Champion Jordan White (15-1, 11ko), will look to make a rapid return to the ring taking on Jose Edgardo Garcia (13-5-3, 9ko), in a main-event scheduled for ten-rounds, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena, in his hometown of Washington, D.C.

White, a.k.a “Short Dog”, is coming off a jaw dropping first-round K.O victory this past August, defeating then unbeaten NABF Jr.lightweight title holder Edrison Garcia (17-1, 10ko), delivering what some fight fans are calling a candidate for “KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR”. In the process White, earned himself a world ranking with the win of the NABF Jr.lightweight Championship, in a main-event bout that was nationally televised on “Showtimes” original series “ShoBox The New Generation”.

In the Co-feature of the evening, “Someones “0” must go”, when undefeated former Golden Gloves champion Dwayne Holmes Jr (5-0, 4ko), takes on unbeaten Donnell Poe (3-0, 1ko), in a scheduled six-rounder in the featherweight division.

This card promoted by Davis Boxing Promotions, will see appearances from many of the DMV areas most decorated and elite former amateurs. Former 6x Golden Gloves Champion Shakell Daly (2-0, 1ko), will take on Harold McQueen (Pro debut), In a bout scheduled for four-rounds of action in the featherweight division.

Amateur standout Deric “Scooter” Davis (1-0, 1ko), will take on Christopher Thomas (0-1), in a scheduled four-rounder. Former USA (#1 ranked) amateur light-heavyweight Nasheed Smith, will be making his highly anticipated professional debut against Jawan Jackson (0-1) in a scheduled four-round bout.

Plus action from prospects Crisanto Lucio (6-1, 3ko), Andrew Collins (4-0, 4ko)[*in separate bouts], Jr welterweight Duane Thompson II (3-0, 2ko), Light heavyweight prospect Stephaun Hopps (1-0, 1ko), Lightweight prospect Nicholas Issac (1-0, 1ko), Light heavyweight Nijay Brown (Pro debut), & Super welterweight Tremaine Fuller (pro debut).
