Ennis looking to make second hometown title defense.

(November-9, 2024)— Jaron “Boots” Ennis (32-0, 29ko), returns to his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania attempting to make the second defense of his IBF welterweight World title, against a familiar opponent in Karen Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13ko), (Of Ukraine), in a scheduled [12-Round] world title attraction at the Wells Fargo Arena, in Philadelphia, PA

Ennis and Chukhadzhian had previously fought each other in January of 2023, on the Gervonta Davis vs Hector Garcia card in Washington D.C, a bout Ennis won by Unanimous Decision. This rematch was ordered by the IBF sanctioning body, which has Chukhadzhian, as the current mandatory challenger for the IBF welterweight world title held by Ennis.

In the co-main event, top-10 ranked Pound-4-pound star Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (20-0, 13ko) (of Texas), will be looking to defend his WBC super flyweight Championship against Pedro Guevara (42-4-1, 21ko) (of Mexico), in a [12-Round] WBC World title match.

This entire Matchroom card is stacked from top to bottom. Former WBA featherweight World Champion Raymond Ford (15-1-1, 8ko),(of New Jersey) will take on Puerto Rico’s Orlando Gonzalez (23-2, 13ko), in a bout scheduled for [10-Rounds] in the Super-featherweight division.

Light heavyweight contender Khalil Coe (9-0-1, 7ko), (Of New Jersey), will look to defend his regional WBC USA title against Manuel Gallegos (20-2-1, 17ko), (Of Mexico), in a scheduled [10- Rounder].

Middleweight contender Austin “Ammo” Williams (16-1, 11ko), (Of Texas), looks to bounce back, fighting in a scheduled [8-Round] contest.

Newly signed 22yr old undefeated Super lightweight contender Ernesto Mercado (16-0, 15ko), (Of California), will be making his Matchroom Boxing debut, fighting in a bout scheduled for [10-Rounds].
