Crews-Dezurn to defend undisputed titles against Marshall in U.K.

[On Saturday July-1, 2023] Super Middleweight Champion, Franchon Crews-Dezurn (8-1,2ko), will look to defend her Undisputed crown against Savannah Marshall (12-1,10ko), at the Manchester Arena, In Manchester, Lanchasire, U.K.

“The Heavy Hitting Diva”, who primarily trains in the Nation’s capital, Washington D.C, will head into her opponents backyard, traveling across the seas to defend her undisputed titles against a dangerous opponent in Savannah Marshall, in a 10-round Main Event promoted by Boxxer.

The Undisputed Champion Crews-Dezurn, is currently riding a eight-fight win streak since suffering her sole pro-career loss coming in her professional debut, a defeat that came against fellow Undisputed Women’s Champion Claressa Shields, in 2016. Since then “The Heavy Hitting Diva” has defeated Elin Cederroos, in a title unification bout to collect the IBf & WBA World titles, and now holding all four belts in the division.

U.K native Savannah Marshall will be a no walk in the parking, having nearly stopped all of the opponents she has stepped into the ring with delivering 10-knockouts in her 13-fight professional career. Marshall, who was known as the only person to ever defeat Claressa Shields in boxing, going back to the amateurs ranks, recently had her undefeated record blemished, also coming from the hands of the undefeated undisputed champion Claressa Shields, when the two rekindled in the pro ranks to settle the score and will look for a shot at redemption against Crews-Dezurn.
