White vs Tellez headlines Stacked NoXcuse x ProBox TV Card

(Washington, D.C.) —— NoXcuse Promotions x ProBox TV bring another high-powered fight card to CareFirst Arena, formerly the Entertainment & Sports Arena on Friday, September 5th, in Washington, D.C.

In the main event, heavy hitting NABF Jr. lightweight champion Jordan “Shortdog” White (19-1, 12 KOs) returns to D.C. to take on Mexico’s Rene Tellez (21-5, 15 KOs). With White sitting at #9 in the WBC world rankings, this fight could help him come even closer to landing himself a world title shot.

The co-main event will see battle-tested ring warrior Sulaiman Segawa (17-5-1, 6 KOs) collide with Mexicos Bryan Acosta (20-1, 8 KOs). Segawa aims to keep his world title aspirations alive, while Acosta looks to rebound after recently suffering defeat, hoping to add a seasoned contender to his resume.

Also on the card, Jonhatan Cardoso (18-1, 15 KOs) and Luis Torres (20-1, 12 KOs) square off in a matchup of power-punchers. Both guys bring some serious knockout power, so this bout could potentially end early.

This event isn’t just about the main portion of the card, the undercard is loaded with local DMV talent, giving fans a taste of the next generation of stars.

  • Francois “The Franchise” Scarboro Jr (10-0, 8 KOs) – Scarboro Jr is building a reputation as an DMV area fan favorite, delivering exciting performances each time he steps into the ring.

  • Jordan “Iceman” Roach (4-0, 1 KO) – Fresh off a victory over former world title challenger Garen Diagan , Roach looks to carry his momentum forward and build off of his latest performance.

  • Ben Johnson (4-0, 4 KOs) – Four fights, four first round knockouts, will we see Johnson be able to showcase more of his arsenal or will it be another short night?

  • Ervin “TreyPound” Fuller (10-0, 5KOs), Eric Hernandez (12-2, 5KOs), and Jeffery “The Fly” Yu (7-1, 5KOs) are all hungry and ready to show why they belong on the big stage.
