Wizards Keep Hope Alive With Win Over Pistons.

Tuesday night the Washington Wizards snapped a 3-game losing streak improving their record to (32-37) with a 117-97 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Washington rallied behind a big game from star guard Bradley Beal, who had 36 points on a efficient 13 of 15 shooting, also adding 7 assist. With the win over Detroit that propels the Wizards currently into the 10th seed play-in spot.

“It's up to us. We could kind of control our own destiny,” Beal stated. “I know it starts with me, so I just make sure I'm locked in, make sure I'm ready to go and make sure guys are ready to go” he replied when being asked for his message to the team coming down the final 13-game stretch of the season.

While short handed without Foward Kyle Kuzma (Knee soreness), the Wizards were still able to find a balance offensively shooting 51% from the field, with key contributions from (C/F) Kristaps Porzingis 18pts, 7rebs & 3 blks, Corey Krispert 16pts & Monte Morris 13pts, 8rebs.

“We have to win some games we’re not supposed to win, we have to figure it out, we want to be in the playoffs” - Kristaps Porzingiz
