Gervonta Davis KO’s Ryan Garcia and silences the critics.

Saturday, April-22, Las Vegas seen two of the biggest stars in all of sports square off inside the boxing ring to settle once and for all the question of “Who’s bad?”

In what many might say was one of the most highly anticipated fights of the decade, undefeated Ryan Garcia (23-0,19ko) took on former 5-division world champion, Gervonta Davis (28-0, 26ko), in a clash for boxing supremacy.

As usual the first round started as a feel-out round for both fighters, but in round 2 Davis floored Garcia with a counter left hand, making it only the second time that Garcia has hit the canvas.

The rest of the fight was a tactical chess match with Davis seeming to come on stronger as the fight progressed, and then in the 7th round, Garcia led off with a combination of punches and again was countered by a vicious left had from Davis, but this time the punch landed to Garcia’s abdomen forcing him to drop to a knee and seemingly being to devastating of a blow for him to continue the fight, after not being able to rise to feet to beat the 10-count of the referee.

Gervonta Davis proved to the 20,842 fans in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena and the millions of viewers tuned in worldwide [that he is who he says he is], moving to (29-0, 27ko) with the statement win over Ryan Garcia, whos record now falls to (23-1).
