Berlanga becomes #1 contender for WBA title after 6th round TKO of MCrory

(Orlando, Fl)—Sat, Feb-24, 2024, Undefeated, super middleweight contender Edgar Berlanga, defeated Ireland’s Pádraig McCory, by [6th round] TKO, retaining his WBO-NABO super middleweight title infront of his newly adopted home crowd of Florida.

With the victory over McCrory, Berlanga now positions himself as the number one contender for the WBA super middleweight title, which is currently held be Champion Canelo Alverez, who has yet to announce a dance partner for his upcoming May-4th, fight date.
